Երկինք եւ երկիր

Լոյսն ի անջրպետ
մի աղբիւր խորհրդաւոր անհասկնալի
ջուրն է մի համեղ ըմպելի

Մանկութեանս շունչն է
իմ մէջ առթնցեր
մի նոր կեանքի արեգակն լուսաւոր

Սէրն զրահազարդ իմ սիրտն է լեցուցեր
մայրն ամէն վայելքի
տուն դրախտավայր ամէն պանդուխտի

Սպասումն խաւարի մէջ
պարգեւն կեանքի, հրաշալի մի խորհուրդի
վաստակեալ համբերութեամբն հաւատքի

Պտուղներն անոր քաղեր եմ օրէ օր
փնտռտուքի ճամբուս վրայ
անշօշափելի վայելքներ եմ ապրեր

Ձայն կու տամ ձեզի այ ժողովուրդ
ամէն մարդ արարած սիրել որպէս մի անմեղ փոքրիկ
գուրգուրանքի արժանի մի որդեակ թանկագին

Ի՞նչ տեսակ տեսարաններու մէջ ման կուգաք հիմա
միթէ կ'ուզէք դժոխային կրակոտ պատկերներու առաջ
մի աւերեալ աշխարհի մէ՞ջն ապրիլ

Թէ խաւարն լուսաւորելու ժամանակն ե՞րբ է գալու
վերստեղծելու մի կեանք մարդավայել
մի վսեմ առօրեայ պայծառ սիրոյ մէջն`կարենալ երազել

Heaven and Earth

Light in the void
a wellspring mysterious incomprehensible
its water a tasty drink

The breath of my childhood
is awoken in me
the bright sun of a new life

Girded love has filled my heart
origin of all pleasure,
home, sanctuary for every wanderer

Expectation in the dark
the gift of life, of a wondrous mystery
earned through the patience of faith

Its fruits I have picked day by day
on the journey of my quest
I have lived intangible pleasures

I cry out to you, o people,
to love each human creature as an innocent
a precious child worthy of tenderness

In what types of landscapes are you wandering now?
do you really want to live in a ruined world
in front of infernal fiery images?

I wonder, when will the time come to lighten the dark
to recreate a life fitting for mankind
in a noble everyday radiant love, to be able to dream?
